Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira Wants Brock Lesnar or Frank Mir Next

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira says he's ready to fight anytime, and hopes to fight for the title or avenge his most recent loss if he has his way.

"I want Brock Lesnar for sure," said Nogueira, who rebounded from a UFC 92 loss to Frank Mir by defeating Randy Couture by unanimous decision at UFC 102 in August. "I want to fight him. But I would fight Frank Mir also. That's my second choice."

Lesnar is scheduled to fight Shane Carwin in November, but Nogueira is clearly still a top-five UFC heavyweight, and fresh off his teammate Junior Dos Santos' dominating performance over Mirko Cro Cop at UFC 103, Nogueira told FanHouse that he's re-energized in his chase for UFC gold.

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira: I Want Brock Lesnar, I Have Better Skills

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira says he's feeling great after his UFC 102 victory over Randy Couture, and he's hoping to fight again soon, with the goal of getting a shot at UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.

Aaron Simpson Talks UFC 102 Win, Randy Couture Comparisions

As an assistant coach for nine years at Arizona State University, UFC middleweight Aaron Simpson watched as wrestlers Cain Velasquez, CB Dollaway and Ryan Bader all successfully translated their collegiate wrestling backgrounds into a career in MMA.

Training with Arizona Combat Sports, Simpson (6-0) finally gave MMA a shot in 2007 and in exactly 13 months, debuted for the WEC and won by knockout in 18 seconds. This past Saturday, the two-time All American wrestler extended his streak of TKO wins to six by knocking off Ed Herman at UFC 102.

The MMA Hour: Roy Nelson Talks 'TUF'

On this week's edition of The MMA Hour, we spoke to "Big Country" Roy Nelson about his involvement on the 10th season of The Ultimate Fighter. What was it like sharing a house with 15 other heavyweights? Will we see the belly rub in the UFC? Was he impressed by Kimbo Slice? All those questions and more were answered.

We also looked back at UFC 102 and discussed what's next for last weekend's big winners and losers. Check out the show below.

BJJ Lessons: Joe D'Arce on the Choke That Bears His Name

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Lessons is a FanHouse feature in which we ask someone in the MMA world to teach us about one aspect of Brazilian jiu jitsu. Today Joe D'Arce talks about the D'Arce choke.

During the first round of Saturday's UFC 102 main event, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira knocked Randy Couture down and attempted to submit him with a D'Arce choke -- a move that was named after Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt Joe D'Arce. To find out more about the move, I called D'Arce at his gym, D'Arce Brazilian Jiu Jitsu of Long Island, and asked him to explain the move's origins and how it came to bear his name.

UFC 102 Video: Randy Couture, Brock Lesnar Make Awkward Small Talk

Nine months after they went toe-to-toe in one of the biggest fights in UFC history, Brock Lesnar and Randy Couture met again Saturday night in Portland, this time backstage before Couture fought Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC 102.

Check out the video below.

Frank Mir on Couture, Nogueira, Rogan, Fedor, Lesnar, Silva and More

Frank Mir is, in addition to being one of the best heavyweights in mixed martial arts, also one of the best analysts of mixed martial arts. And in an interview with Raw Vegas TV, he had plenty to say about subjects ranging from the Randy Couture vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira fight at UFC 102 to his anger at Joe Rogan's comments during that fight. Also, he discussed his UFC 100 fight with Brock Lesnar, Fedor Emelianenko's decision not to fight in the UFC and a possible fight between Mir and UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. Video and quotes are below.

Another Example of Spider's Greatness

You know about his striking, his footwork, his power and speed, but here's another element to Anderson Silva that makes him great: his ability to digest and copy the opposition.

It's perfectly captured in this video in which he simulates Randy Couture to help teammate Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira prepare for "The Natural."

UFC Twitter Mailbag: Randy Couture, Thiago Silva, Nate Marquardt, More

UFC Twitter universe had plenty to say about UFC 102, with thoughts on upcoming fights for Randy Couture and Thiago Silva (could both of them be future opponents for Lyoto Machida?) as well as praise for Nate Marquardt.

Your questions and comments, and my responses, for our UFC Twitter mailbag are below.

UFC 102 Medical Suspensions: Ed Herman Suspended Indefinitely

Portland resident Ed Herman has been suspended indefinitely by the Oregon athletic commission following his UFC 102 loss Saturday at the Rose Garden.

Herman will be required to be cleared by a physician for an injury on his left knee before he is allowed to compete again. He's been referred for an MRI.

Herman's knee buckled in the first round of his fight against Aaron Simpson and was openly hobbling in his corner between the first and second rounds. Herman chose to fight through the injury, but it only took 17 seconds into the second round for the injury to turn ugly. While throwing a right kick that was caught, his left knee buckled again, this time rendering him unable to continue.
