Less than two weeks away from his UFC lightweight championship match at UFC 101, BJ Penn found himself fielding questions about a disputed text message and his treatment by the media, and was targeted by a crank caller during Tuesday's UFC 101 media conference call.

Still, at the end of it all, Penn claimed he was focused on retaining his title in his first match back from a drubbing at the hands of Georges St. Pierre at UFC 94.

"I'm fighting for the lightweight championship of the world. That's small stuff," he said. "I don't know how I get caught up in small stuff."

Marinovich is a trainer who specializes in speed, power and functional training. He is also well known as the controversial father of ex-USC and Oakland Raiders quarterback Todd Marinovich, a one-time prodigy who saw his NFL dreams fall prey to substance-abuse issues.

In the days after UFC 94, when BJ Penn accused Georges St Pierre of cheating by having grease rubbed on his body, UFC President Dana White was highly critical of St. Pierre's corner, wondering aloud how such an infraction could have been committed accidentally.

But White wants to put the issue behind him.
