The UFC 97 video blog concludes with a two-parter from UFC President Dana White. Part 1 is above, and it reminds me to mention what I thought was the oddest part of the UFC 97 pay-per-view broadcast: The interview with Strikeforce middleweight champion Cung Le, who is promoting an upcoming movie.

White says of Le, "I love this f**king guy" and adds "I hate Frank Shamrock," whom Le beat in his last fight. I think the UFC views Le as an actor and not a fighter; I don't think the UFC would be prominently promoting Le if it viewed him as one of the top fighters in a competing MMA promotion. The latest UFC 97 video blog features Montreal's own Georges St Pierre taking on UFC President Dana White in UFC 2009 Undisputed. St. Pierre became the first fighter to beat White in the video game, prompting White to say, "I think there was Vaseline on the controller."

The UFC is portraying the UFC 97 fight between Chuck Liddell and Mauricio "Shogun" Rua as, potentially, the final fight for The Iceman in the UFC.

The latest UFC 97 video blog features UFC President Dana White in Montreal, talking to, among others, Chuck Liddell and a soldier who was injured in combat.

The UFC 97 weigh-in will take place at 6 PM ET Friday in Montreal, and if you can't make it to the Bell Centre, you can watch the video.

In the main event, Anderson Silva and Thales Leites both need to weigh-in at 185 pounds for their middleweight title fight. Other big fights include Chuck Liddell vs. Shogun Rua, both of whom will fight at the 205-pound light heavyweight limit, and Cheick Kongo and Antoni Hardonk, both of whom will be comfortably below the 265-pound heavyweight limit. UFC President Dana White is back with what has to be the strangest of his video blogs to date, this one not featuring a single word spoken by White.

If you're not already excited about Chuck Liddell vs. Mauricio "Shogun" Rua at UFC 97, this video should do the trick.

UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva has demurred in the past when asked whether he considers himself the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. But in the above video hyping his fight with Thales Leites at UFC 97, Silva says that he does, in fact, view himself as the best fighter in MMA.
