Every week, NFL FanHouse hits the lowlights from Sunday's action, looking at those players who did the most to move their head coaches that much closer to returning to the Bed and Breakfast business.

In light of their recent faux pas, it'd be easy to make JaMarcus Russell or Larry Johnson the Coach Killer of the week. After getting benched in a loss to the Jets, Russell explained that he wasn't Oakland's problem, proving that he's as aware of himself as he is of a blitz. Or how to line up for the first play of the game, despite practicing it all week.

Larry Johnson, well, we know that story by now. Johnson added insult to ineffectiveness in the wake of the Chiefs' 37-7 loss to the Chargers, making life harder on a first-year coach trying to retain any shred of credibility with a terrible roster.

But Russell is not an NFL-capable player, and Johnson is a headcase. They haven't fooled us into believing otherwise. Jake Delhomme, however, had us all believing he was an NFL quarterback. A gambler, sure, but one who came through more often than not. ... D'oh.

I'm not sure why, but I find the plight of sports fans and athletes on eBay and Craigslist fascinating. Whether it's championship rings up for bid or fake athlete sales (except Jake Delhomme -- that wasn't a joke), it's just amusing.

But I get the awkward feeling that there's nothing remotely humorous about this Redskins fan who is slinging his attendance on Craigslist.

Sunday Evening Wrap checks out players who increased or decreased their value during the Sunday afternoon games.

Top Faller: Greg Jennings had 80 catches for 1,292 yards last season. His worst game in terms of catches was two. His worst game in terms of yardage was 22. In 2009, he caught six balls for 106 yards in his one game before Sunday. Obviously, at home against the Bengals seemed to bode well for the fourth year wideout. The result was a goose-egg of a game from a player who is a WR1 on fantasy rosters in every single league out there. Keep in mind, angry owners, this isn't going to happen again this year. The Packers play the Rams next week, so there's no reason to get down on him now. He'll
be fine.

When the Redskins signed defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth to the largest free agent deal in NFL history, the contract came with a lot of expectations. One game into his Redskins' career, there are already columns asking, is that all there is?

Haynesworth had four tackles against the Giants. He had no quarterback hurries and no sacks as the Redskins lost 23-17.

Craigslist: the hottest place on the planet to sell athletes. Why? Because it's free, man. And when you think about associated costs of trafficking in real human people vs. being able to just sell someone online for nothing, well, it's a no-brainer: the latter is a better option. Also, it's pretty damn funny.

For instance, Jake Delhomme, everyone's least favorite Carolina Panthers turnover machine quarterback, was available for purchase on Craigslist as late as today (thank you, Jeebus and CLTBlog, for "print screen" though). Serious analysis of the sale ... after the jump!

The thought of Jake Delhomme, NFL starting quarterback, often triggers acute physical reactions.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Tommie Hill hadn't been in the end zone with a football since his senior year of high school, when he blocked a punt for a touchdown. But with time ticking down in the fourth quarter of a tied preseason game against the Carolina Panthers on Monday night, the Giants' rookie defensive end out of Colorado State found his way back. Hill's fumble recovery and subsequent 18-yard rumble to paydirt as time expired made the Giants winners in their first preseason game of the year and, more importantly, spared everybody from the inexplicably pointless experience that is preseason overtime.

"I ought to be able to get a dinner out of it," Hill joked. "I just happened to be in the right place at the right time."

As the season nears, FanHouse's fantasy football team decided to put our heads together for another set of updated positional rankings. First up, the signal-callers.

We've now established thrice what everyone already knew anyway: Drew Brees is heading into the season as the consensus No. 1 fantasy football quarterback. This time around, though, we did have quite the knock-down, drag-out battle for a spot toward the top -- the two-hole. Rivals Peyton Manning and Tom Brady did battle, and their average ranking amongst our staff was a near dead heat (2.5 to 2.67).

FanHouse's crack squad of savvy fantasy football personnel put our five heads together and amassed consensus rankings for non-keeper, standard scoring leagues. We'll update as the season gets closer, but this is our "incredibly early yet still fun" version.

Was last season the year of the quarterback or what? You still had the old reliables like Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Kurt Warner and Donovan McNabb doing their thing, but a whole new crop of passers have elevated themselves. Aaron Rodgers, Philip Rivers and Jay Cutler led the way for the youth movement. You could have even waited toward the end of your draft and landed stud QBs in Matt Ryan and Tyler Thigpen (who would have been waiver-wire fodder). Team all that with Tom Brady's Week 1 injury, and we had a really interesting season. Let's see how they fall out presently for 2009.
