Quarterback

• Aaron Rodgers, Packers - Rodgers participated fully in practice on Wednesday and said that his foot injury isn't a big deal. He'll play on Sunday.

• Derek Anderson, Browns - Anderson participated in full on Wednesday at practice and his ankle injury will not keep him from playing on Sunday.

• Trent Edwards, Bills - Edwards missed practice on Wednesday due to a concussion. He hasn't been ruled out for Sunday's game yet, but likely will be soon.

• Eli Manning, Giants - Manning was limited in practice on Thursday but the Giants say it was by design. He's expected to play all four quarters against the Saints on Sunday.

• Matthew Stafford, Lions - Stafford did not practice on Thursday due to his knee injury and will likely not play on Sunday.

Quarterback

Brett Favre, Vikings - Favre was limited again in practice on Friday but is listed as probable for the game.

Matthew Stafford, Lions - Lions coach Jim Schwartz will not announce his decision to bench or start Stafford until Sunday. Stafford did practice on Friday, but most of the Detroit media feels like Daunte Culpepper will start instead of Stafford.

With all the offensive stars New England has, you would think someone like Tom Brady would be leading the team in total points. But it's kicker Stephen Gostkowski that's blazing the trail, with 30 points through three games. He nailed all four of his attempts last week against Atlanta en route to a 14-point showing, and with another tough defense on tap his leg should be golden again. If this keeps up, he'll have no problem matching his 148 points from last season.

Chad Pennington, Dolphins - Pennington is done for the season. If he's still on your fantasy roster, well, then you're not paying attention.

Marc Bulger, Rams - Bulger did not practice on Thursday. In fact, he hasn't thrown a pass all week. He's likely not going to play on Sunday.

Jason Campbell, Redskins - Campbell said on Thursday that his ankle was still sore but he would play on Sunday.

6:35: Hunter Hillenmeyer, the Bears' replacement for injured LB Brian Urlacher, has left Sunday's game in Seattle with a rib injury.

6:17: Bengals LB Ray Maualuga limped off the field, then was carted to the locker room with an apparent knee injury.

6:00: NFL Network reports that Frank Gore suffered a high ankle sprain and could miss a couple of weeks.

5:53: Shawne Merriman has reaggravated a groin injury and is done for the day.

The Cleveland Browns may have canned Romeo Crennel after a disastrous season (well, more than just one), but they aren't opposed to hiring clones of former Browns and current Patriots coach Bill Belichick. The team went from Crennel, a former defensive coordinator, to former defensive coordinator and -- most recently -- deposed Jets head coach Eric Mangini.

Meet The ...
Team who fooled us all a year ago! So much promise, so much hype and yes so many wasted fantasy picks. The writing was on the wall for doom in Cleveland last season. Many put their faith in Braylon Edwards and Derek Anderson to be the next great QB-WR combination in fantasy football.

This season the Browns remain a little less profile. Jamal Lewis is on the cusp of crashing into the wall, Braylon Edwards is on the trading block and we aren't really 100% sure who the QB will be week in and week out. One thing is pretty certain, you can shelve Donte Stallworth for a very, very, very rainy day.

FanHouse fantasy positional rankings are compiled weekly by the staff in order to provide answers to possible lineup questions. These are assuming most leagues use Fleaflicker's standard scoring structure. The Broncos offense is really good. The Raiders defense is pretty bad, but they've been able to put the clamps on teams in the red zone and in the passing attack recently. The two teams are playing each other in the sea-level-challenged confines of Denver.

The Bills, apparently, were in a "must-win" situation tonight (it's a somewhat fair assessment with a 6-4 knot at the top of the AFC East, but please, people, for the love of God can we stop using this phrase so much? It's not applicable until elimination actually applies.), but you wouldn't have known it from the first quarter that Trent Edwards put up.

Three interceptions is really the only thing I need to mention, right? It was that kind of night for two rookie quarterbacks in what started out as an incredibly ugly game -- and was that way through the first half -- but ended up being a pretty g-d exciting contest.

Both Cleveland and Buffalo, who suddenly account for two of the biggest 2008 flop-jobs (Cleveland has disappointed all season and the Bills are in a total free fall right now), looked like they had no interest in winning anything for the first 30 minutes, but ended up sparring off in a back-and-forth of last minute football that involved a few Brady Quinn strikes, more BEAST MODE than it was really fair to handle, and a pair of long, wind-affected field goals, only one of which spiked the uprights.

And it was a 56-yarder by Phil Dawson that ultimately sealed the game, even though Rian Lindell had a shot from 47 to put the Bills back ahead with just under a minute to play. In fact, I might argue that Dawson and Marshawn were the only people -- James Harrison too, actually -- that played a worthwhile game.
