Fantasy Football Cut-N-Go: Chris Chambers Resurfaces in Kansas City

Chris ChambersCut-N-Go is Fantasy Football FanHouse's weekday roundup of the NFL news with fantasy football impact.

Cinderella had her glass slipper and some enterprising restaurateur decided many years ago that chicken wings and beer went great together. It doesn't happen often -- when two things come together to create a perfect fit. When it does happen, you should thank your stars.

Chris Chambers is doing just that after he was claimed off waivers Tuesday by the Kansas City Chiefs. It may be a stretch to call this a perfect fit, but there aren't too many teams in the NFL where Chambers could have gone and actually produced. The receiver-needy Chiefs are one of those few places.

Fantasy Football Over/Under: Week 7

Here's how it works. We throw some intriguing matchups at the FanHouse staff and ask whether each player will be over or under a certain point total. The result? Fantasy Football Over/Under. Makes sense, right?

We correctly forecasted the Drew Brees explosion and Eli Manning implosion, while I hit the nail on the head with regards to Matt Hasselbeck. Not that I'm 100 percent right -- I was the only one wrong about Steve Slaton last week. We were accurate about Julius Jones and Chris Johnson, and if you want to check the rest of last week's picks, refer to this link.

Fantasy Football Sunday Wrap: The Resurrection of Elite Tom Brady

Sunday Evening Wrap checks out players who increased or decreased their value during the Sunday afternoon games.

Sunday's Top Riser: We've seen this Tom Brady before, and it was in 2007 when he threw for almost 5,000 yards and totaled 50 touchdown passes. So far in 2009, he'd been good, but not great. And we drafted Brady for great in fantasy football. Enter the Tennessee Titans and the worst pass defense in football. Brady, despite playing in a quasi-blizzard, completed 29-of-34 passes for 380 yards and six touchdowns. That's all he'll need to get that swagger back. Next week against Tampa Bay, he's going to put on a show across the pond in London's Wembley Stadium, and he's a bonafide top-three fantasy QB again -- you can take that to the bank.

Fantasy Football Week 4 Rankings: WRs

Santana MossLast week we called Santana Moss a must-start fantasy option, both in the rankings column and during our weekly Sunday Tailgate chat (which we have every Sunday morning starting at 10:30 AM ET). The Redskins receiver sure did his part to make us look good.

Moss finished the Lions game with 178 yards and a touchdown on 10 catches, which was easily the best WR performance of the week. The major question, as it always is with Moss, is whether this will be the start of something good, or just another peak on the chart before disappearing again for a few more weeks. Fortunately for Moss, this week's matchup against the Buccaneers isn't any tougher. Feel confident rolling with him for another week, as he's a must-start option again.

Monday Reality Check: DeSean Jackson Soars for Eagles

DeSean JacksonEach Monday of the fantasy football season, we'll cut through the fantasy numbers put up by individuals and tell you what they really mean.

Heading into the season, we liked DeSean Jackson's chances to move into low-end WR2 range. After three weeks -- two of which were with a backup quarterback -- we're ready to say he's easily a WR2, with the chance to move into WR1 range. In the past two games, Jackson has caught 10 passes for 250 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Adding in a punt return touchdown in Week 1, Jackson has scored in all three Eagles games this season.

Lions Win First Game Since 2007

There have been a few near-misses, more than enough heartbreak, and some blowouts thrown in. Sunday afternoon, however, the Detroit Lions finally broke a hideous streak that saw them make NFL history.

The Lions beat the Washington Redskins, 19-14, at Ford Field. It marked the end of a 19-game losing streak for the Lions, who had not won since December of 2007.

Fantasy Football Week 3 Rankings: WRs

I've seen bad weeks from elite receivers before, but I never thought I'd see a zero-catch game from Greg Jennings this season. Will it get better in Week 3? Well, it has to, doesn't it? Almost as surprising as seeing Jennings with no catches was seeing Mario Manningham with 10, especially considering the Giants' Steve Smith also had 10 catches. Are we dealing with the next Randy Moss and Wes Welker? You're right, that's too much hyperbole, even for me. Still, the highly-added Manningham is due for a huge bump up in the rankings, but how far will he climb?

1. Andre Johnson, HOU vs. JAC
2. Marques Colston, NO @ BUF
3. Steve Smith, CAR @ DAL
4. Randy Moss, NE vs. ATL
5. Greg Jennings, GB @ STL

Fantasy Football Cram Session: Letdowns Galore, but Hope on Radar

Santana Moss and LaDainian Tomlinson have fantasy football owners concerned, but they sure aren't the only ones. After a frustrating Week 1, there are plenty of questions to answer. Will Steve Slaton bounce back? How do you cope with the loss of Donovan McNabb? Get injury analysis, start 'em/sit 'em choices and even some trade advice in Fantasy FanHouse's jam-packed podcast after the jump.

Washington Redskins 2009 Preview: Now Or Never for Campbell

Training camps have wrapped up, the NFL season is right around the corner, and it's still hot as sin outside. But instead of cooling you off with a warm island song, FanHouse break out ye old heat check for our 2009 NFL Season Previews. " We'll rate each club in 5 categories on a scale of 1 to 10, high score wins.

Offense -- They stormed out of the gate last season, on the shoulders of Clinton Portis. In the second half of the season, though, the offensive line began to wear down and Jason Campbell wasn't productive enough downfield to take attention away from CP26. This season, there are reasons for optimism. The offensive line has been retooled. The growth of second-year wideouts Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly will give Campbell more reliable options in the passing attack in addition to the solid Chris Cooley and Santana Moss.

Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings: Version 3.0

As the season nears, FanHouse's fantasy football team decided to put our heads together for another set of updated positional rankings. In this installment, the prima donnas take their turn.

We've flipped again -- after Larry Fitzgerald made an appearance atop of the 2.0 rankings, Andre Johnson is back at No. 1 here. We also see the effects of injuries to Steve Smith, Antonio Bryant and Donnie Avery. Remember to use these rankings as a tool, not as the be-all, end-all of your draft preparation. As news breaks, we'll keep you updated on the fantasy ramifications of it all. Enough talk, let's rank!
